EPR Data & Analytical roles are responsible for leading the development and configuration of the EPR, localising the EPR to 3 Acute Trust's needs, supporting the creation of the system design, testing and delivery. They work alongside experts from the system provider, MEDITECH and they also look for opportunities to improve the system for all three Trusts in the future.
Training in how to work with the EPR software is provided, although some experience of software programming or configuration is advantageous - alongside a sound understanding of clinical or administrative practice. Of equal importance is analytical thinking, the ability to learn quickly and familiarity with clinical systems as a user or programmer.
